Meet Brody. This is the very first picture I took of him when I met him on Friday. He flopped down on his back and gave me a paw as if to say "No picture!"✋
He is so sweet, but super sensitive. It is obvious he was treated unkindly some point in his life. He does not take anything out of my hand, even a piece of hotdog, until I put it down on the ground. He is jumpy and shuts down when he is nervous but loves to cuddle and melts in my lap when I give him a massage. He is one of the calmest BCs I've ever met. I don't know if it's his true personality or it's due to nervousness yet.

It took so many people to save this boy, from a shelter worker who pleaded to get him out, a person who pledged to pay for his medical bill, a temporary foster to a transporter. All he needed for him to survive was a foster home. As most of you know, every rescue groups needs more foster homes in order to save more dogs. Please consider fostering for your local rescue group, even for once. If you are looking for a dog to adopt, fostering is the best way to find a good match for your family. Brody will not be available for adoption for a while. Stay tuned for more pictures!
