The tradition of quality teams in west Texas goes back for generations. An elderly booster of the #PermianPanthers holds a photo of himself as a player from the mid 1930’s. The stories of small towns like #Wink,Texas paying players from collages to help the local boys win are part of the fabric of the the state and its most important game. One of the only other things to come out of "if you blink you'll miss Wink" Texas is #RoyOrbison #notTheSuperBowl
