If you speak with anyone who knew @Guymariano as a young skater, they’ll tell you that he was constantly progressing and inspiring others to progress. His legacy of skate clips is commemorated in @colinmkennedy #LifeOnVideo series, and he’s refreshingly open about his appreciation for skateboarding and his place in its history. Guy’s career is a testament to how unbelievably difficult it is for a passionate skater to pull back from the scene for any length of time; in the long run, the raw, complex feeling of skating and learning is just too powerful to ignore. Life On Video culminates in part 5 with an edit that may be his strongest work to date — if you’re not counting his ridiculously insane Bangin' or the mind-blowing NBDs he casually releases on Instagram. You just can’t keep a good Guy down.
