That's me at the base of this stack of Balinese young men from the Mawang banjar Ubud, playing a game called Panjak pinang, where a group of people try to climb up each other on a 50 foot coconut pole in a mud pit to reach prizes that are attached to the top. Kind of like a giant piñata. I could feel every pound of each man as they climbed onto my shoulders to reach to top.
