I was really moved by the experience of talking to all of the young men at Pacific Lodges Youth Services. One of them was reading while I was singing and when I asked him what he was reading he shyly told me it was a book about Stephen Hawkings, the space time continuum and astro-physics. When I asked him to tell me more about it, he said that he read about space all day everyday, explained Stephen Hawkings theories on time and space and said he wanted to become an astronaut. I was blown away by his passion and enthusiasm and as he opened up it inspired all the other young men in the room to drop their guard a little and share their dreams about what they are passionate about. I left feeling so inspired having listened to their aspirations . I encouraged them all to write them down and make plans and go after them. As is often the case when I listen to people in prisons or youth centers I feel like I am changed by the experience as much as they are... or perhaps even more. #OneHeartOneSoulTour #youth #dreams #aspirations #space photo by @evoke_emotion
