Goodbye, 2014. You've been wonderful and horrible and gorgeous and gut wrenching and heart opening and dark and light and terrible and miraculous and full of adventure and pain and growth and love and you've been absolutely fucked up and lovely at the same time. I hate you and I love you. I'm grateful and I'm done. Last sunset. May 2015 bring us peace and joy and normalcy. I want every day happiness and everyday sadness but no fucking death or trauma or crisis. Please. Just regular, I'm-totally-capable-to-handle-this stuff. And balance. Please, God, Universe, Spirit, whoever's in charge... Give me balance. I'm done with mega highs and mega lows. Just let me watch some sunsets and travel a little and stay home and argue about the dishwasher and write and kiss and do yoga and be happy and sad and feel ok. Balance. For 2015, I want balance.
