I started skiing when I was 2 years old, raced from ages 9-12, and then quit to pursue climbing. Nearly 15 years later I rediscovered it, and now, 3 years later, I wonder what the hell I was thinking when I quit. Although I'm glad I had the passion and dedication to devote my time and energy toward my climbing career, I'm even more grateful to have rediscovered this incredible sport. It's no longer a distraction from climbing but a compliment, a balance, and just another rad way to explore the mountains. I'm also grateful to be surrounded by a community of phenomenal skiers who let me chase them around the mountains trying to keep up, it's the best way to learn and improve! Also thanks @adrianballinger for letting me know right off the bat we couldn't date unless I became a skier again. @lasportivana @Smith @ザ・ノースフェイス #neverstopexploring
