I spent the better part of the morning floating on top of the water watching several turtles move from their resting place in the coral to the surface, and back down again. In between these visits for air, I enjoyed the company of a variety of tropical fish and even a small reef shark. All in all, a pretty good start to the day. Taken in the waters on the shore of Maui.
