Like many photographers, when I first start framing pictures of #mountains I usually include the whole peak or at least the summit. If I want to sell the shot as a #stock picture, that’s a given. Once that's done, however, I have learned that it’s a good idea to look further at less obvious shapes, forms and lighting. This image illustrates a magical evening while I was shooting from the incomparable #AnnapurnaSanctuary in the #Himalaya of #Nepal. # Macchapucchare Peak began to glow in a #sunset and I shot from the top on down. Though this frame includes neither the summit nor the entire mountain (which is considered sacred and one of the most beautiful peaks in the world) this is my favorite. @thephotosociety @natgeocreative @nature @Earth Pics
