#tbt May, 2013 - San Diego Zoo Global scientist Oliver Ryder, Ph.D. captures #rare footage of #endangered #baby Mountain gorillas rolling and playing in the rain forest of Rwanda. The #gorillas are part of the Hirwa group, one of ten groups that are being monitored and protected by staff at Volcanoes National Park. Dr. Ryder was in #Rwanda meeting with local officials to discuss the establishment of future projects in the area that would benefit this and other species.
