In today’s installment of my weekly #SundayStories I’m taking you back to my first ever shoot for @Vogue in a story that brings together the worlds of Fashion and Fishermen … Xx ? My first ever American Vogue editorial was a three day shoot in Maine with photographer @アーサー・エルゴート and Vogue’s @therealgracecoddington. We were in this little fisherman’s village where they had asked this teenage fisherman my age if he would be in a photo with me on a boat. The whole town came out and were really excited for him. At the end of they day all the kids in town decided to go bowling, and Grace was like, “Coco, you should go with them! We can put you in @Balenciaga and you can go bowling!”. I was a little apprehensive and asked if I could just eat with her and Arthur to which she said, “No! We’ll give you some money and you go have fun with the local kids”. She was insistent, so I agreed to go with the kids but decided to wear my own clothes rather than the #Balenciaga. So, off I went bowling with these kids in the middle of nowhere in Maine. That whole first #AmericanVogue trip I felt like Arthur and Grace were my sweet aunt and uncle, it was a great experience. Though now looking back I wish I had worn the Balenciaga…
