I saw the sun rise this morning on a plane home from Marshall In West Virginia and I realized how blessed I am to still be here. Spending Trans Day of Remembrance out there was incredible. It's one of the hardest days for me personally, but being around support and change is empowering, even when it is all new folks and faces. I cannot allow my trans family to perish at the hands of hate and fear, especially transwomen and transwomen of color, whose voices have been silenced by misogyny and racial oppression combined. enough is enough! I will continue fighting and educating until we have a world where no new names are added to the list of trans folk murdered. That is my promise to you, world.
