Holy Pumpkins! To celebrate Halloween, David and Deborah McDonald of Tyngsboro, MA display over a hundred jack 'o lanterns outside their home, each carved with a unique face. They have been carving them for over four years and each year add more to their collection. How do they do that? The pumpkins are artificial and made out of foam. Each is lit with an orange light for nighttime viewing.
I will be teaching a workshop over Halloween at Chesapeake City, MD. The town hosts a Harvest Fest, where participants bring real Jack 'o Lanterns to display at Pell Gardens Park, so we will see and photograph many of them. Halloween night brings out the trick and treaters in full costume.
