A cheetah is built for speed, not fighting. After making a kill, they will often gulp their food before losing the meal to a lion, leopard or hyena. At first, we thought these juvenile cheetah were in luck as there were no large predators in the area. Then, one by one, the vultures dropped in. Once they reached critical mass, they moved closer and closer to the meal. The cheetah made a few attempts to chase them away, but soon gave up the kill.
