Eilean Donan Castle was framed by clouds this morning as the tides slowly flooded in around the island in Loch Duich. The castle was held by the MacKenzies, whose Jacobite leanings got them in trouble, leading to the castle being blown up with 28 barrels of gunpowder in 1719. It was finally restored in 1932.
