Tobermory on the Isle of Mull has such an iconic row of stores on the waterfront. BBC filmed a children's show here called Balamory so everyone knew the red, yellow and blue paint job. Then the yellow one was repainted black, it's true historic color and everyone raised a stink. Now it is happily back to yellow.
