The WINNER of the July 2014 Fan Photo Contest is @markseabury! Our judge this month was Mike Yamashita @Michael Yamashita who had this to say about the photo: "This photograph of a boarder under a wave immediately grabbed my attention. It has good action, strong color and light and an interesting composition organized on a diagonal that perfectly fits the square format of Instagram. I stared at this one a long time trying to figure out exactly what was happening with the wonderful reflection and light coming from the upper left hand side of the frame. Isn’t that what great photography is all about? Arresting images that force viewers to first stop and look and then evoke curiosity and emotion. This frame has it all."
