After four hours of mud dancing up a steep terrine , the mountains gave way to gentle rolling farm lands out of some kind of dream. Lush and rich and ancient. Tending by the Poh people by hand and by oxen for thousands of years. Wild rice , chile, turmeric , ginger, wild pear , cabbage, sunflowers , pumpkin are only a handful of the crops I saw growing wild and perfect in these misty mountain tops.
