Hey guys and gals, @richburnsred_art here. Now for this week I thought I would do a special #tbt. Many of you faithful AC followers will instantly recognise the picture on the right, probably for two reasons....1. It is a portrait OF the immensely talented artist @kit_king, whom you are probably well aquatinted. And 2. The portrait is BY the equally talented artist @afjelnseth....again who you are probably already well aquatinted with. However, Alex did not just wake up one day and draw this amazingly well. As you can see from his picture on the left, he too started at quite a basic level. The two drawings are only a few years apart....and just look at the difference! He has got to the level through patience, persistence and dedication to the craft. It is a fine example of what hard work can accomplish.
So....for all you art lovers out there who see the posts on AC and indeed all the other art pages , if you ever think...."I would never be able to do that, I would love to....but I just couldn't do it!" DONT GIVE UP!!! We can do amazing things if we put our minds to it. Yes people will pick up things quicker than others, yes some have a naturally steady hand, but we can ALL improve! Never give up on your dreams. thank you for sharing this with us @afjelnseth, your progress is inspirational!
