This is the awesome work of Kate Mccgwire. She collects the moulted feathers of birds to create amazing sculptures. She fell in love with the colouration of the pigeon feathers that were found in the area from the feral pigeons around her studio. This inspired her to use them in her work. She soon realise that she would need thousands of them, so she contacted racing pigeon enthusiasts from all over the uk. When all the feathers are assembled in an installation the results are quite mesmerising!
