This is life!!! We were on our way to Gröna Lund just now with a car full of people and had been looking for a parking space forever. Finally finally we found a space to park but had to wait for a few people with kids to walk over the path in front of us first. We pull up to our spot and see that one of those families had run up to to our parking space to block it! They tried to hold the spot for some other car that was way behind us - but we were there first! They didn't want to leave but neither did we because we all felt we were right.
After a lot of back and forth we actually started fighting with each other and there was even a little bit of yelling. We were sure we were right and they were sure they were right so there we stood, arguing! Adults! Arguing over a parking space! It was pretty intense and very ego centered. Dennis, who never ever argues, finally had enough and asked for everyone to please let each person speak their mind with no interruption. Everybody did, one at a time, and after a while we realized we were actually the ones that were wrong - they had been standing there since before we even saw the spot so they were the rightful takers of it. We were so busy being angry and not listening it took us forever to understand them.

So super odd ten minutes of weirdness. We apologized and drove away and immediately not only found a great parking spot but were even given a free full day parking pass from another family that was leaving early. Karmic. I felt really bad about arguing in the first place so I wrote a note saying we were so so sorry and much love to them all. Then I bought this balloon and tied the note to it and then attached it to the top of their car. Hopefully they come back after a nice day and feel happy about our apology and their new balloon?

Moral of the story: We all make mistakes. We all let our egos speak for us sometimes. Listen better! Say sorry when you're wrong. Apologize. Be human and flow with life. And buy people balloons when needed!??? #love #sorry #balloon
