USA NASA astronauts Steve “Swanny” Swanson and Reid Wiseman are pictured here with German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst. All three are crew are shown with bald heads in this image. Alexander’s is natural, Swanny and Reid had their head shaved by Alexander after losing a bet. The two countries competed in a World Cup match June 26. If USA won, Alexander would have a USA flag drawn on his head, if Germany won, well, you see the results.

Prior to the game, the International Space Station crew showed off their own World Cup moves in an "Out Of This World Cup" match. Zero-gravity offers a unique environment to explore new ways to enjoy and celebrate the world's most popular sport. International Space Station Expedition 40 crew members Steve Swanson, Reid Wiseman, and Alexander Gerst highlight international cooperation while traveling high and fast above the Earth.
