Sad news: AC-5, the second to last #CaliforniaCondor brought in from the wild in 1987 to be part of our breeding program, passed away due to complications from old age. He sired 25 chicks in his 27 years at the @sdzsafaripark, playing an integral role in the recovery of his species. He endeared himself into the hearts of his caretakers, and words can't convey how much he will be missed. We invite you to join us in memorializing this incredibly important bird as he soars off into the great unknown.
