This section of the Colorado River known as Horseshoe Bend is just outside of Page, Arizona. The edge of the cliff is a 3/4 mile hike from the trail head. There are no guard rails, so caution is paramount. I found the early morning to be great for photography, before the sun hits the valley and causes some harsh contrasts.
