This summer I will be attending Houston Ballet's summer program, and I'm so excited! I spent last summer at Miami City Ballet School. I loved the program! I learned a lot from all the teachers, and the modern and jazz classes were also amazing! The environment at the studio was very friendly and professional. I also loved the cultural influence of the city and how we were allowed to explore the area on our own. Before that, I attended Milwaukee Ballet's summer intensive for three summers, which is a fantastic program with lots of dancing. A must have for a good summer experience is a phone, because whenever I had a hard day or an exciting day, I would call my mom or a friend and talk about it! It also helped me when I was home sick.
