Got a pedicure. Feet are funny things. I think mine are pretty but many of you will disagree. They put sparkly things on two of my toes! Now I'm going to have a massage. Whatever I want to do I just do it right now. I think that's alright.
Realization of the day: grief is the empty space left in the footprint of love. The deeper the love, the deeper the footprint, and the bigger the space left behind. I love a lot. So I feel a lot. Grief is the pain of the love that once was and still is and always will be. So maybe somewhere in all of this, one day, I will be grateful for this pain. Today I'm just grateful for my feet. They take me places and I have sparkly things on my toes and that's something!
