For the first day of spring today, the brilliant TV-star chef @curtisstone will by taking take over F&W's Instagram to show his team's recent trip to Castroville, the central California town that grows some of the best artichokes in the world. The mission: harvest fresh artichokes to feature at Stone's amazing first restaurant, the just-opened @mauderestaurant in Beverly Hills. Follow along with #FWtakeover. And now, here's Curtis!

At Maude, we build our menu each month around one key in-season ingredient. This month, it's #artichokes, so the team and I headed north to Castroville, CA—the artichoke center of the world, as they call it.
