We hit 50,000! When I created my original profile (@benashby) @Instagram was still a photo editing app without social abilities. Back then I'd edit the photos then screen shot them so I could upload to Facebook. I would have never dreamt that from that silly little app with its Nashville filter and its ability of putting modern life in tiny little squares that I would develop so many amazing friendships and meet so many people and work with so many insanely talented people. So today as I hit 50,000 followers I thank each and every one of you for allowing me to be a part of your daily life. This business is based on the dream of creating community..and with you we have built an amazing community. I could never thank each of you enough.
I wanted to share a special photo to mark this special occasion. I took this photo today. This is our spring issue that will come out in a couple of weeks (after we finish delivery of all the winter issues) This issue marks a very new chapter for FOLK. One that is still very surreal to me but one that I am beyond excited for. Again I thank each of you!
And yes if you go to my personal account and scroll down you'll find the overuse of the Nashville filter and bad framing. #liveauthentic
