Hi, this is Gideon Mendel @gideonmendel reporting unintentionally on the massive protests on the streets of Bangkok today. I arrived in Thailand this morning and witnessed some remarkable scenes as hundreds of thousands of jubilant anti-government protestors filled the streets around the Democracy Monument in the center of Bangkok.
However I am here on a totally different mission. I will be part of the team running the newest chapter of the Through Positive Eyes project: 12 local HIV positive participants will be starting our intensive photographic training and will be turning their cameras on their own lives over the coming week. On this feed I will be introducing them all to you and curating a selection of their images.
