New routes are at the core of why I #neverstopexploring. To find a bit of rock, created by time, with it's hidden meaning is a prime motivator. Unlocking moves that are seemingly designed for climbers is an experience that connects us to this planet. In some small way I like to think this happiness makes us understand our place in life. Wild places are precious & I'm reminded of John Muir and his quote, “Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul." {not sure if the good man #johnmuir could imagine what modern ice climbing has become. deep inside the sentiment remains the same}
