Darren Erbe’s parents, Darren and Anne Erbe’s, house in Bay Head, New Jersey sustained over five feet of water in the garage and four feet in the house from Sandy. They gutted everything on the ceiling down on the first floor and raised the house up 8 feet. The majority of their house is coming together, but face a challenge of getting heat back before it turns colder.
Other challenges they face trying to rebuild their house include the long wait for parts to arrive such as garage door and a railing for the porch that is backordered for a month.
