"A classic 1950's American car rolls down the nearly empty Cuban highway to the small town of San Nicolas. In this town classic car enthusiasts hold 'las corridas', races where they pit their half-century old vehicles against one another." Today we are presenting a series of photos and stories from CNN's Patrick Oppmann (@cubareporter) who documented Cuba's classic car races for CNN. These folks are burning rubber in classic American cars from the 1950's, and older, that barely run, let alone race each other.
