A three year old small girl is celebrated for her growth and well-being during her Hichi-Go-San, literally Seven-Five-Three, rite. It is Japan’s traditional passage and festival day for three- and seven-year-old girls and three- and five-year-old boys. It is supposed to be held annually on November 15th, but due to Shinto priest’s schedule, it is often held long before. Tsurugaoko Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura. Photo by @Q.
