Pro-tip- when you are done forking up all the manure and wet straw, and you have the stall bedded down with fresh straw, whatever you do don't hang the pitchfork back up with any stray pieces of straw hanging on it. Your Grandad will get mad, it's supposed to be some kind of bad luck.
