Damn it. Bit of a setback today. I was lunging the filly on the longline and Grandad came over to help. She got mad and rared back and fired off and kicked him good in the knee. Sometimes it's easy to forget just how powerful these horses are. He's gonna be awful sore for a bit. I'll be able to do some training on my own, but not all of it. And besides, fact is he's the brains behind this operation. Now I have to be the knees.
