#RecipeOfTheWeek is pan-fried pears with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Put the ice cream scoops on a tray and store in the freezer. Quarter 4 pears and in lemon juice. In a frying pan, heat 1tbsp of butter over a medium heat and sauté the pears until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and add 2tbsp butter and 50g sugar. Melt on a low heat until bubbling. Remove from the heat and add 1tsp vanilla essence and 3½ floz cream. Cook for another minute, sprinkle over 1/2tsp salt, add the pears and warm through. Serve the pears with the ice cream and a scattering of almond flakes. #Yummy #Pears #LoveEveryMouthful
