#RecipeofTheWeek: spicy parsnip shoestring fries. Cut parsnips into batons. Half fill a saucepan with sunflower oil. Heat to 190c. If you don't have a kitchen thermometer, test the temperature by dropping a cube of bread into the oil. If it turns golden in 30 seconds, the oil is ready. Drop your parsnips in for 2-3 minutes until softened but not browned, then remove and drain on kitchen paper. You may need to do this in 2-3 batches. Bring temperature back up to 190c. Return fries to oil and fry for 1-2 minutes until crisp and golden. Remove and drain on kitchen paper. Season with the paprika, celery salt and some freshly ground black pepper. #Yummy
