A Leatherback Turtle feeds on a pyrosome, a free-floating, colonial tunicate, in the pelagic waters of the Azores. Leatherbacks are known to feed almost exclusively on jellyfish.
A chance encounter while I was on assignment for NGM in this location searching for tuna.
