After over a week of trial and error, and a lot of out-of-focus pictures, the female whose territory we were in came down to drink right where we hoped she would. The water was evaporating by an inch or two each day in the 110°F heat, so this first picture caught her tripping the infrared trigger just above the water line. With a 30 second exposure for the night sky, this was the first image in slow-motion flip book.
