Alain Arnoux bucks a strong head wind as he flies the razor's edge, a strange salt ridge in a remote part of the Chalbi Desert in #Kenya. The winds were so strong that he could kick the ridge while he was piloting my motorized paraglider, and found the ridge to be brick hard. With the wind and his world champion piloting skills, Alain was able to beat me in the Cessna back to the airfield for dinner. From the book African Air by @geosteinmetz
