No Country exhibition artist Khadim Ali led a series of workshops for educators, families, teens, and visitors who are blind or have low vision, inspired by the one-thousand year old Persian epic, The Book of Kings. At our family workshop, parents with children ages 5–12 heard ancient stories retold by Ali, who learned them from his grandfather during his own childhood. Ali combined storytelling and art-making to inspire families to create personal responses.
