Summer is almost here and so will the Loggerhead sea turtles to best at Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge in South Carolina. The Loggerhead nest recovery program had a record breaking season in 2012 with 1,676 nests. The remarkable recovery of nests and hatchlings like this one was made possible by the dedication of our volunteers who have over 5,000 hours to save the turtles. Are you interested in volunteering?
