It might’ve taught you there was a game to play, and a game to win. I wonder how many of us are actually dancing to the tune that is truly ours, our authentic expression. I wonder how often we allow ourselves to move in new ways, try new steps and leave the fear of rejection at the door. Maybe you feel like me, intimately aware and familiar with your own tune and you’re learning how to move to it more and more each day with courage and love. I feel our time is past its ripeness, and the more we learn to allow ourselves to make space for our own dance, the more we are allowing others to do theirs too, and dare I say it might heal us all a little.
