A year ago, I was right on the edge of burnout - pushing myself into absolutely everything, running on an empty tank and trying to keep up with everything. I was running in a race of justifying my worth - in my career, my friendships and my home life - just to prove my good intentions, yet always apologising and feeling inadequate for not doing more. Let me just say in case anyone was wondering: that is not the way to do it. We took that break of living in Ibiza for as long as we could, eventually leading our journey back to London. But the lessons of the space, nature and calm the island offered in its winter did wonders and taught me that I could do life differently. It’s all a choice. If I’m honest, I’m not made for a city forever. I’m a nut for nature!
