Gucci Ancora Notte was presented at the LACMA Art+ Film Gala 2023 wearing an exceptional casting composed of Mariacarla Boscono, Vittoria Ceretti, Jiahui Zhang, Fadia Ghaab, Nyajouk Gatdet, Violet Hume, Heather Strongarm, Camilla Orner, Agel Akol and Sam Case, new faces seen on the Gucci Ancora catwalk.
A few weeks after Gucci Ancora, the debut show that defined the codes of the brand's new daytime wardrobe, Gucci Ancora Notte continues to enrich the new vision with a eulogy to life after dark. Composed of twelve evening gowns, it has the same attitude: it is anchored in reality and is made of joy and humanity.
Creation after creation revives the precious embroideries born from a study of the archive and in particular of a selection of mini-bags dating back to the 1950s. Micro shorts also return, here to make the fluid crepe dresses that are a tribute to the Nineties look contemporary. After having embellished minidresses and coats, lace inserts and beaded fringes now stand out on slim silhouettes.
