先日、広島へ行きました。

日々、沢山の人たちが攻撃を受け
犠牲になっているのを見て
何もすることができないもどかしさと共に
居ても立っても居られない気持ちになり
行ってきました。

毎日の生活は続いていて、
やらなきゃいけないことは沢山あるけれど。

同じように核で苦しめられている世界の現状を
見て見ぬふりをすることができませんでした。

小中学生の子どもたちが、原爆の子の像の前で、
今世界では戦争が起こっている、僕たちは平和を祈り続けますと声をあげていました。
その同じくらいの歳の子どもたちが毎日苦しめられている現実や、子どもだけではなく、無実な人たちが、爆撃によって殺されていること。

その怖さを再確認し、知っておかなければいけないと思いましたし、目を背けてはいけない現実だと思います。

本当に、もう、やめてほしい。
大切な、大切な、ひとつしかない命を、
核という無意味なもので、壊し、何が得られるんだろう。

私も小中学生の子達と一緒に、お祈りしました。

世界がいつか変わることを。

今は、お祈りしかできないことに悔しさを感じながら。

I went to Hiroshima.

I saw so many people being attacked and sacrificed every day.
I felt frustrated that I could not do anything, I felt like I could not stand still and I went there.

Everyday my daily life is going on, I have many things to do, but I could not turn a blind eye to the current situation in the world, which is also suffering from nuclear weapons.

In front of the statue of the Children of the Atomic Bomb,elementary and junior high school students said that there is a war going on in the world right now and we will continue to pray for peace.

The children are suffering every day,not only children but also innocent people are being killed by the bombings and lost their precious family.

We have to reaffirm and know the fear of it and can't turn our eyes away from this reality.

I really wish it would stop.
What will be gained by destroying only precious life with so meaningless nuclear weapons?

I prayed with the children.
"That one day the world will change"
Feeling frustrated that all I could do was pray...
