Harlow wanted to be the Mad Hatter so like usual, Mike and I built our costumes around that. I was the Queen of Hearts and Mike was the white rabbit. Harlow made her hat herself by hot gluing a tea set to the top and cards on the side. I reinforced the inside with cardboard so it could hold the weight without buckling. There is no photo that does it justice. Mike was in charge of his own costume. He always acts like he’s not on top of it and then surprises us by knocking it out of the park at the last second. I wish I didn’t have my jacket on in the first photo but it was cold! If you’re wondering about Mazzy, she was a ghostbuster with a bunch of friends at a party on Saturday and spent tonight watching scary movies with a friend at home and answering the door for trick or treaters in our building. We missed her though!!!
