I think that it was more difficult for me than the actual physical change of doing life with one arm. I didn’t like being in the spotlight. I was thrust into the public eye at such a young age and I felt like I wasn’t super prepared for that. However, one of the first things I said when I was lying in the hospital at age 13 was, “Maybe God will be able to use my story to encourage others”. I had a heart for others ever since I was really young. This gave me the willingness to take on the challenge of the unique attention because I wanted to use my story to encourage others with the hope that I had in God. 💛🙌🏼 I will continue to use this space to share life with you and encourage you!
