🦇The Museum’s bat collection includes about 500 species, over one-third of bat species in the world. This display represents 71 of those species! Using this collection and additional data, Museum biologist Nancy Simmons and other scientists have been able to discover more than 20 new bat species every year—and identify which ones are threatened.
