You’ve just given me a gorgeous arabesque, now I want you to plié.

Sometimes we then lift the arm so high that it’s no longer in relation to what the head is doing or an accurate representation of an arabesque so the line becomes a little destroyed.

As you plié, keep the line long and reach the arm long, lifting the chin slightly showing more length and expression rather than destroying the line.
